UCL SSEES students meet the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia

My great students from UCL SSEES visited the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia! They enjoyed an insightful presentation by my good friend and colleague Nick Nasev, MITI about Macedonian language outside of 🇲🇰 and they even enjoyed more when I grilled Nick this time and not them. 😀

Talking about language and identity is always fascinating. Nick’s Macedonian language journey is quite different than mine, and I am always intrigued to hear more.
